Kirk Smith and Cathy Dwyer-Smith are the owners of Kirk Smith Construction, as well as TGC Propane and TGC Landscaping. We have been in business since 1989 and have continually strived to provide superior client service.

Equipped with a fleet of boats and work barges, we welcome water access as well as mainland projects. We build often in difficult locations, homes, cottages, decks, docks, cabins, you name it!

With our 12 full time carpenters and labourers we are able to schedule your project based on your deadline, avoiding unnecessary waits for sub trades to show up on the job site. The majority of our employees have been with us for several years, and we have some of the best, most reliable carpenters in the area.

We also have a licensed bricklayer and stone mason on staff. He has extensive experience in brick and stone work and their allied trades, such as ceramic tile, concrete work, plastering and parging. He also has been heavily involved with some of our stone landscaping in the past.

When it comes to septic system installation we are licensed installers and are able to install all types of systems. We are equipped with a barge and the machinery to do island installations as well as mainland.

As well, our G2 propane gas fitter has over 30 years experience with propane service and installation, and is licensed with the TSSA – Technical Standards Safety Association.
